Michael Herman is the Vice President of Development at Kohl Children’s Museum since January of 2015. He is a successful fundraising executive with more than ten years of dedicated experience in donor cultivation. Proven record of designing and implementing strategic and innovative initiatives to generate new revenue in support of organizational mission. Previous to joining the Museum’s Senior Team, Michael served as the Chief Development Officer for Chicago House and Social Service Agency, an HIV/AIDS housing provider servicing the changing needs of those who are living with HIV/AIDS. He lives in Rogers Park with his husband and nine year old son. He currently spends a lot of time at the ice rink and on the soccer field with his son who is an avid athlete. He is a lifetime Chicagoan.
